I moved here from England in 2001 and now live in Sequim with my wife and 2 sons.
I am an International instructor of Taekwon-do and currently hold the grade of 6th Dan with over 25 years experience of Taekwon-do. I have gained UK and USA medals in competition and boxed for 6 years before starting Takwon-do.
I taught several schools in England helping students become proficient in self-defense, gain their black belts and many received medals in competition. Here, in the US, several students have gained their black belt under my tutorship, as well as medals in local and state competition.
I have attended seminars by Grandmaster Rhee Ki Ha in the UK, Grandmasters Charles Sereff, Mike Winegar and Rene Sereff in the US, and several international seminars with the founder of Taekwon-do Grandmaster Choi Hong Hi as well as instruction and seminars from Masters Huntington, Schoonover, Choi, Park, Cutler, Mitchell & Miller.
I am a qualified personal trainer having gained the Personal Trainer Diploma with the YMCA. I also have the British Amateur Weight Lifters Association leaders award.

I am a 3rd degree black belt and certified class "B" instructor.
Tae Kwon-Do has been a part of my life for just over 6 years. Mr. Stoppani has been my instructor from the very start of my martial arts career and has helped me accomplish tasks that I never even imagined myself accomplishing! As well as earning three degrees of black belt, I have taken gold, silver and bronze medals in local and state competition. At my first black belt testing I was awarded "high test score" and a dedication award that hadn't been given out in three years.
I have attended seminars by Grandmasters Charles Sereff and Mike Winegar. I look forward to attending many more.
I am blessed to be affiliated with the USTF/ITF and my instructor Mr. Stoppani. We're like one big family that watches each other grow and mature in our art, our lives, and our friendships.
